The primary goal of Benassi Family Dentistry is to help you achieve and maintain excellent oral health for a lifetime. This goal is possible with our range of quality dental services and by keeping you well-informed about various dental treatments available to you.
On your first visit we will conduct a thorough examination of your mouth, teeth, gums and soft tissues to evaluate your dental health. We will also screen for signs of oral cancer. This preliminary work may include x-rays that are needed to accurately determine the condition of your overall oral health. A thorough check-up and examination is absolutely essential to come up with an educated diagnosis.
Once our dentist has studied your gums and teeth and reached a diagnosis, we will discuss a treatment plan that personally suits you. If treatment is indicated, we will try to restore optimum dental health in a few well-planned appointments. We recognize the value of your time. We at Benassi Family Dentistry will only recommend treatments that you need.
Benassi Family Dentistry keeps up with the latest technological advancements in dentistry. Here are some of the procedures that make use of state of the art equipment:
Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic. Simply put, CEREC is a quick and easy way to restore damaged teeth. Patients who have tried CEREC find it very impressive, because the procedure takes no more than one appointment to complete.
After a thorough examination, a special camera is used to take a 3D image of the tooth that needs repair. CAD or computer-aided design software is then used to determine how ceramic material will be shaped to restore damaged teeth. Milling of the ceramic material is digitally controlled in order to ensure precision. Because the whole process is digital, errors are minimized even from the start! Restorations are specially made to suit the shape, color and size of a person’s tooth.

Hygiene and Gentle Care
Most patients are familiar with the traditional instruments that remove tartar build-up and bacteria. Here at Benassi Family Dentistry, we have a few other tools that pair well with those instruments. The first being an ultrasonic – this cleans by breaking down the tartar/calculus build-up and cleansing underneath the gum tissues with water and ultrasonic waves. The second is a prophyjet – this can be an alternative to traditional polishing. This “sandblaster” of sorts, is excellent at working around braces as well as removing staining. Lastly, we can utilize a low-powered laser when necessary to kill periodontal disease causing bacteria found under the gum tissues. No matter the case, we have the right tools.
